A fascinating single vintage aged grappa from the Piedmont-located Dellavalle brand.

Made with high quality grape pomace from Monferrato, this spirit has been distilled in traditional small bain-marie stills, before being aged for a significant period in oak casks.

The grappa has then been finished in Demerara rum casks, creating a richly flavoured spirit with notes of brown sugar, tropical fruits, vanilla, oak, toffee, funky grapes, chocolate, green wood, peppery spice, sweet wine, molasses and grape blossom.

An interesting combination of two great spirits, beautifully presented.
