A single estate rum from Gray’s Distillery, located in Mauritius.

All the molasses used to produce this rum is made from cane grown in the Belle Vue village, after which the rum is named.

Distilled in 2005 in Column stills, the spirit has been aged for 15 years in a combination of French Limousin oak casks and former Cognac barrels.

The result is a spirit that serves up notes of rich dried fruits, fresh grapes, exotic fruits (mango, banana, pineapple), tobacco leaves, oak, toffee, black pepper, allspice, nutmeg, cloves and cinnamon.

Bottled at 45% ABV, this is a medium bodied rum.
