A cracking rum from Mauritius-based New Grove distillery, which has a history stretching back over 150 years.

The distillery was founded by Dr. Pierre Charles François Harel in 1838, when he began using local ingredients from his Pamplemousses Garden Estate to produce his rum.

The company continues to use local produce in its bottlings, with the distillery found surrounded by verdant fields of green sugar cane.

This bottling has been aged for 10 years in oak barrels, and offers a fresh and fruity profile with notes of bright sugar cane, lime, caramelized pineapple, orange juice, coconut, mangos, apricots, cinnamon, nutmeg, light oak, milk chocolate, and slight fragrant tobacco.

A great value for money rum.
