One of the older distilling companies still operating, Nardini was first founded in 1779. Indeed, this bottling was first released in 2004 and to commemorate the 225th anniversary of the company.
Nardini remain family owned, with distilling expertise being past from generation to generation. Having grown from a small, local company, Nardini now produce over 4 million bottles of grappa a year.
Nardini 15 year old is a well aged grappa, which has been matured in Slovenian oak casks, giving it an oaky softness and rounded flavour.
The grappa offers flavours of green wood, oak, vanilla, cinnamon, anise, almonds, grapes, flowers, a touch of lime and slight woody sweetness.
An excellent, complex grappa that is a perfect after dinner serve.
