A delicious aged grappa from the company that first introduced this mature style to the market back in the 1940s. Nardini have been in the grappa business for over 225 years, having been founded in 1779.
This grappa is made with the pomace of grapes harvested in the footbhils of the Veneto and Friuli regions of Italy. These marcs are distilled in a vacuum-sealed still with double rectification, before aging in oak barrels from the Slavonia region of Croatia for a minimum of three years.
The result is a well balanced grappa, with the flavours of oak and fruit melding together harmoniously. Drinekrs can expect flavours of rich spice and stone fruit, with some notes of green wood, crushed grape, vanilla, toffee, and gentle oak.
Bottled at 50% ABV, this strength ensures the spirit’s flavours are clear and powerful.
An excellent after dinner drink that pairs well with dark chocolates.
