Fernet describes a certain style of Italian liqueur, which is most usually flavoured prominently with rhubarb, mint, gentian and saffron. Nardini provides an authentic and delicious take on this classic libation.

The liqueur pours a deep, brick red, almost cola coloured. Drinekrs can expect notes of Chinese five spice, rhubarb, rooty bittersweet herbs, chopped mints, caramel, perfumed sweets (Turkish delight), cola and saffron.

In Italy, this liqueur is often dripped into the end of an espresso, or served alongside coffee. But in Argentina, the country where Fernet-style drinks are most popular, this Amaro is traditional mixed with cola for a delicious highball-like cocktail.
