A remarkable aged Grappa from pioneers of the style, Marolo.

Founded by Paolo Marolo in 1977, the distillery is located in Alba, Piedmont, and uses local grapes to make high quality grappa.

This bottling has been made with the must of the Barolo grape. After distillation, the spirit has been aged in a pair of Oloroso Sherry casks sourced from Spain for ten years.

The end result is a grappa that offers notes of rich dried fruits, sweet and spicy oak, vanilla, tannic red wine, tobacco, plums, raspberries, sweet red grapes, blackberries, vanilla and toffee.

Bottled at 47% ABV, this is a full bodied and flavoursome spirit.,
