An excellent French single malt whisky from Chateau du Breuil, a distillery better known for its high quality Calvados.

This is single malt whisky made in a style that will be familiar to Scotch drinkers. The spirit is distilled from Golden Promise barley, and has been finished in Oloroso Sherry casks.

The final product is a superb drop with plenty of sweet Sherry flavours, serving up notes of Christmas cake, baking spices, plums, dates, cherries, mixed toasted nuts, apple pie, light oak and vanilla.

Bottled at 46% ABV, this dram has good body and depth.
