One of the fruitier bottlings in the Château du Breuil range, this Calvados has been aged for 8 years in oak casks, ensuring that the apples are at the forefront of the flavour profile.
The bottling offers up notes of toasted almond, hazelnut, acidic green apple, apple pie, cinnamon, slight oak and vanilla. It has a light body and less assertive palate than other Breuil expressions. This would be an excellent ingredient in cocktails.
One of the better Calvados bottlings in this age range, this expression is all about the fruit, which has been grown in the Château’s 42 hectare hillside orchard.
Wonderfully presented with a wax and cork closure.
