A single cask “Special Cuvée” Cognac from the esteemed Jean Fillioux House.

This Cognac was made using only grapes grown in the Grande Champagne cru – regarded as the finest of all Cognac’s growing regions. The producer states that this bottling was “distilled a long time ago, it was matured in a cool damp cellar, in a loose grain, medium toasted new French oak cask.”

The result is a wonderfully fruit and oaky spirit, with note caramelised citrus, vanilla, butter, toasted nuts, dried raisins, milk chocolate, cedarwood, and pot-pourri.

Clearly showing many years of maturation, this is a tremendous expression from Jean Fillioux. Only 504 bottles were drawn from the single cask.
