Jean Fillioux, a traditional family owned Cognac-house, have been producing some of the best spirit in the region since 1880, and over five generations. The estate is located in the “golden triangle”, the most prestigious area in Grande Champagne, already the most prestigious cru in the Cognac region. The domaine has only 63 acres of vineyard, meaning that production and stock is rather limited. This is a beautiful Cognac, designed to stand up to even the most robust of cigars. As such it is rich, chewy and flavoursome, with dense chocolate, toffee, and fruit flavours. This is an XO Cognac, meaning that the spirit has been aged for a minimum of 6 years, producing superb complexity. Whilst this pairs beautifully with cigars, non-smokers will enjoy its rich, decadent flavours as well. Awarded 97 points from Cigar & Spirits Magazine.
