An exceptionally well aged Cognac Grande Champagne from this historic, family owned Cognac House.
Five generations of the Fillioux family have served as the custodians of this Domain, which produces exceptionally high quality Cognac from Ugni Blanc grapes grown on their vineyard.
This Cognac is said to have aged for 60 years in the cellars of Juillac-le-Coq. The spirit is sold largely by word of mouth, in certain select markets, so can be said to be “Confidential”. This is simply because the outturn of bottles is incredibly small.
The final result is a Cognac that serves up notes of toasted spices, dried apricot, vanilla, liquorice, toffee, rancio, dark oak, peppery spice, deep red wine, sultanas, cream and more oaky tannins.
A remarkable bottling from a world class distillery. Bottled at 46% for extra body and depth.
