An extremely fresh gin from the fine folk at Gin Lane 1751.
This brand is a collaboration between London bar the Bloomsbury Club and legendary gin distiller Charles Maxwell from Thames Distillers. Gin Lane 1751 aims to showcase the flavours of gin’s golden era in the Victorian age.
This bottling, which is naturally flavoured with cucumber, watermelon and mint, recalls English summer garden parties. The headline botanicals are also joined by the more traditional inclusions found in Gin Lane 1751’s London Dry gin, comprising of: juniper, coriander, angelica, orris, lemon, orange, cassia bark and star anise.
The end result is a zesty, bright gin with fresh green notes of mint, refreshing cucumber, some orange juice, a little bittersweet juniper and subtle liquorice, and some building spice.
Makes a superb gin and tonic, and is equally good as a base for summer cool style punches.
