An astonishingly old dram from iconic blending house, Dewar’s.

This blended Scotch whisky, which forms part of Dewar’s Double Double range has undergone a four part aging process, in which it is: aged separately, blended together, then aged again and finished in Sherry casks, in this case, of Pedro Ximenez.

The end result is a densely flavoured blend, with notes of treacle tart, sweet raisins and dates, vanilla, a touch of smoke, dark chocolate, toffee, toasted malt, cinnamon, cloves, walnuts, old dark oak, leather, espresso and apples.

This is a dram that benefits from all 32 years of its maturation, full of complexity and depth.
