This bottling is described by the brand as a ‘celebration of the two cultures of Portugal and Scotland’.

Dewar’s Portuguese Smooth is part of the blender’s ‘Cask 8’ series, which offers a taste of the iconic Dewar’s profile in different cask finishes. This particular bottling contains an 8 year old blend of single malt and single grain whiskies, that has been finished in casks that previously held Port Wine.

The extra maturation has given this dram notes of rich plums, red wine, sweet cherries, apricots, blackberries, in addition to classic Dewar’s flavours: vanilla, oak, nuts, apples and sweet grain.
