Another fabulous release from Château de Montifaud, one of our very favourite Cognac houses. This is a classic Napoléon Cognac, sourced from the Fine Petite Champagne cru of the Cognac region, widely thought of as one of the finest crus of them all.
Napoléon brandy signifies the same age that the XO grade does, that the youngest spirit in this blend is aged for 6 years at a minimum. In practice the spirit often carries an average age that far exceeds this.
This is a delicious Cognac, with perfect balance between the delicious grape notes of the spirit and the oaky qualities of the cask. The Cognac has a fantastic maturity, which brings notes of toffee, vanilla, and pressed flowers.
The spirit is bottled onsite at the Chateau, and each bottle complete with a presentation tube. This Cognac is no longer in production, and stocks are pretty limited, so drinkers should move fast if they want to try it.
