Cane Island once again prove themselves to be one of the best bottlers of rum in the industry.
This is a terrific blended rum, made from spirits sourced from the Caribbean island of Barbados. The bottling uses rum from the famous Foursquare distillery, alongside some from West Indies Rum Distillery. The spirit was distilled in both column and pot stills from molasses, and has been fully aged in the Caribbean, for between 3-8 years in American White Oak casks.
A rich and flavoursome spirit that perfectly balances the light spirit of the column still with the heavier pot still distillate. Drinkers should expect woody notes, with touches of barrel char and tobacco, some spice and fruitier flavours of pineapple, mango and vanilla.
