The first vintage release from St Lucia distillery’s Chairman’s Reserve range.

The bottling is a blend of two distillates produced in 2005, one made in their famous John Dore pot still, and the other from a coffey column still. The spirits were aged separately for four years, before being blended together and returned to barrels for another ten years.

The result is a well aged, perfectly balanced rum that offers up flavours of stewed fruits, cinnamon, cloves, all spice, vanilla custard, pot still funkiness, tobacco smoke, pastry, bananas, dried fruits and soft oak.

Bottled at 46% ABV, the rum is full bodied and fully flavoured.

Another excellent release from this impressive distillery.
