A wonderful Caribbean rum bottled by Château du Breuil.

This bottling is from famed Trinidadian distillery Angostura, and was distilled in a column still from molasses. Angostura rums are notable as they continue to be made using yeast strains developed back in the 1940s.

The rum has been matured in for between 3 to 5 years in a combination of casks, including Madeira and Bourbon casks, developing a wonderful aroma and flavoursome profile.

Rum Explorer Trinidad delivers notes of coconut flakes, caramelised citrus rind, chocolate chips, stewed pineapples and mango, toffee, drying molasses, brown sugar and rich vanilla.
