One of the finest eaux-de-vie around, this is a terrific Kirsch from the Alsatian distillery, Nusbaumer.

This spirit has been made using a variety of black mountain cherries which have particularly large stones. These stones give the spirit its subtle bitter almond undertones.

Expect flavours of black cherries, marzipan, bitter almond, jammy berries and gentle earthy spice.

An excellent rendition of the “King of Liquers”, Kirsch.
