A rare example of a red Williams pear eau-de-vie from the fruit liqueur experts, Nusbaumer.

This spirit is made with the delicate red variety of the Williams Pear, grown in the Rhône Valley and the Durance. The skin of this fruit is red, with little white dots, while the flesh is sweet, slightly acid, and melt-in-the-mouth juicy.

The pears are naturally fermented, before being distilled in the traditional manner in copper pot stills. After distillation, the spirit is aged in stainless steel tanks to ensure a well-rounded flavour.

The end result is a softly flavoured eau-de-vie, with notes of ripe pears, flowers, sweet baked pears and subtle spice.
