A superb, very well-aged, plum eau-de-vie from Nusbaumer distillery.

This spirit has been made from ‘prune-quetsche’ , large reddish purple fruits with a sweet, juicy yellow fresh grown in the Sundgau farms.

The plums are fermented naturally, before being distilled in traditional copper pot stills. After distillation, the eau-de-vie is aged for 20 years in stainless steel tanks, ensuring full integration of flavour.

The final product is a spirit with notes of intensely fragrant dried plums, dried flowers, peppery spice, a little almond, white sugar and toffee.

A truly stellar eau-de-vie, which rewards patient sipping.
