A belter of a Sherried Mortlach from Signatory’s Cask Strength range.

This dram has been aged for 11 years, having been distilled back in 2010. The spirit was initially matured in a refill hogshead, prior to a finish in a fresh Sherry butt.

The final result is a deeply flavoured dram, with notes of candied orange peel, raisins, black tea, roasted nuts, chocolate, cinnamon, black pepper, juicy plums and dark oak.

Mortlach is famed for its quality in Sherry casks, and this indie bottling is no exception.
