The Glenrothes Sherry Cask Reserve is made up entirely of whiskies matured in first fill Oloroso sherry casks from both American and Spanish oak, which are made exactly to their specifications in Jerez, Spain. As one might expect, this whisky is characterized by a whole lot of spiciness, dried fruits – orange in particular, and just a whole lot of the typical Oloroso sherry sweetness and fruitiness. A perfect after dinner dram.
