A delightful little grape liqueur from historic Cognac producer, François Voyer.
Made using two thirds Merlot grape juice, and one third Grand Champagne Cognac, the Pineau is blended just after the grapes have been harvested, when they are at their most vivid and fresh. After blending, the liqueur is aged in French oak for at least 18 months.
The result is a beautifully ruby coloured grape liqueur that serves up notes of sweet red grapes, red wine tannins, subtle flowers and Cognac spice, vanilla, oak and slight black pepper.
A delicious sweet liqueur that would be perfect for serving after dinner, or in cocktails.
