A very special 20 year old rum offering from Diamond Distillery, the home of El Dorado.

Bottled to celebrate the 20th anniversary of spirits company CBH France, this expression contains a blend of selected rums from Diamond’s famous Coffey Still and Saville Still. These spirits were given the Marques SVW and DLR, and blended in the barrel before 20 years of tropical aging – an astonishing maturation given the heat and climate of Guyana.

The final product is a dense rum with all the weightiness associated with Diamond Distillery. This drop offers notes of rich dark dried fruits: prunes, dates, raisins, and sultanas, followed by crumbling brown sugar, aniseed, funky molasses, some intense oak notes of pencil shavings and sawdust. Later, cinnamon, dark chocolate and ground coffee come through.

A ludicrously rich and delicious rum.
