One of Edinburgh’s excellent trio of small batch gin liqueurs.
Just as Edinburgh Gin tries to use the best locally foraged ingredients in their famous gin, they also make this delicious liqueur with the finest freshly picked elderflowers, which are native to Scotland.
Elderflower is a common ingredient in fragrant summer drinks in Britain, so it is an obvious choice for creating a delicious gin liqueur. For this bottling they are handpicked whilst at their peak, and infused with the standard Edinburgh Gin (already a fairly floral affair that includes lavender in its botanical recipe) for up to one month.
The final product is a sweet, light and floral liqueur, with some gentle botanical notes of spice and pine, and a touch of citrusy bite.
A delicious, summery liqueur that is best served with plenty of ice, soda and sparkling wine in a spritz.
