A delicious Calvados from Château du Breuil, one of the most prestigious distilleries in Normandy.
Château du Breuil produce their Calvados with apples grown in the Pays d’Auge region, an area known to be ideal for the cultivation of apples for distillation. These undergo a long, natural fermentation, creating a characterful final product.
This Calvados has been aged for 15 years in French oak casks, and as such the spirit possesses notes of milk chocolate, some fresh green grapes, gooseberry, Christmas spice, old oak, toffee, vanilla, green apples, pastry, almonds and flowers.
This high-class expression is presented in a bottle featuring the historic Château at the heart of the distillery’s estate, and a traditional wax and cork closure.
A truly excellent Calvados, full of complexity.
