A well aged, single vintage Calvados from the venerable Chateau du Breuil.

Distilled in 2000, this bottling is made from the 1999 harvest of Pays d’Auge apples grown at the Chateau’s small private orchard.

The apples are left to naturally ferment, before being double distilled, and aged in an oak casks.

The result is a deeply flavoured apple brandy, with notes of caramelised apples, vanilla, red apple candy, toffee, flowers, acidic white grapes, orange rind, soft cinnamon spice and gentle oak.

Calvados at its best.
