A contemporary blended malt from the folks behind Bladnoch distillery.
The whisky’s title is taken from an old Scots term meaning “a drink taken in a toast to a friend when they are about to part on a journey, wishing them good health and prosperity” – likely derived from bon-ally (good friend) or bon-allez (good-go).
The spirit itself contains a collection of various malt whiskies, taken from mystery distilleries.
This bottling offers up notes of white peach, pears, hay-like malty, fresh biscuits, milk chocolate, vanilla, soft oak, a little dried fruit and some powdered ginger. An easy drinking, yet surprisingly complex dram.
Bonailie is a fully sustainable dram, with the packaging made using ecologically sound materials, including:
· 100% recycled paper label from local barley waste
· 100% recycled paper label from local barley waste
· 25% recycled glass content
· 100% natural cork

A whisky as clean in conscious as it is in flavour.
