A blended scotch whisky produced by the recently re-opened Bladnoch distillery. This whisky sees Bladnoch’s malt whisky (which is at least 9 years old) mixed with aged malt whiskies from Islay, The Highlands and Speyside region. Some carefully selected grain whiskies are also used. Master Distiller Ian Macmillan has personally overseen the production of this fine blend. The whisky itself is crisp and slightly smoky, with a delicious peppery ginger note. This whisky certainly lives up to its name, with the blend offering a good example of excellent blended scotch. This whisky has a bar-friendly bottle featuring a charming image of the Scottish glens. Pure Scot has won a string of awards in recent years, including Gold Medals at the 2017 and 2016 Scotch Whisky Masters, and again at the 2017 San Francisco Spirits Competition and China Wine & Spirits Awards of 2016.
