The famous old Bols liqueur distillery has been making Maraschino liqueur in their Dutch distillery since the 1830s.

This liqueur is produced using cherries from the Dalmatia region of Croatia, the homeland of this liqueur. This is mixed with fresh cherry juice for a velvety mouthfeel, and rose oil for a little floral flavour. Other “secret ingredients” are also used, adding a little more depth.

The result is this perfectly clear liqueur, which serves up notes of almonds, sour black cherries, rosewater and earthy, bittersweet spice.

A perfect option for any cocktail that calls for Maraschino.
