Yes, this might seem unlikely, but Amrut make this robust, smoky dram with peated malt imported to Bangalore from Scotland. The grain is peated to 24ppm, so has a medium smokiness, similar to a Talisker or Caol Ila.

This bottling packs a real punch, weighing in at a cask strength of 62.8% ABV. This dram enjoys a full, creamy mouthfeel.

The dram offers notes of hot, buttery corn, with slight chili spice, before building into huge smouldering charcoal and peaty grain flavours, with toffee, vanilla, oak and spice in the background.
