The third batch of this top quality Indian Single Malt whisky.
This is a double cask release, that pairs single malt which has been aged in former Bourbon barrel with that from a port pipe. It also uses whisky made with Scottish peated malt barley.
The spirit entered the barrel in May 2012, and was bottled in June 2017, giving it an age of just over five years.
The result is an expertly balanced whisky, with delightful smokiness, delicious fruity flavours and some rich, typically Amrut vanilla. Some superb exotic fruit rounds off this dram. Bottled at 46% ABV and without chill filtration or artificial colouration, this allows the natural aromas and flavours of this whisky to shine.
Another fantastic Amrut whisky, that marks global collaboration, with Scottish grain, and Indian distilling expertise!
