This whiskey has matured for 16 years in Bourbon casks, imparting a range of delightful tropical notes.

The bottling delivers flavours of pineapple, brown sugar, fresh caramel and grassy malt, milk chocolate, bright oak, vanilla, apples, hay, mixed spice, pears, mango and almond.

A lot of Irish character here, perfectly balanced with the Bourbony notes of the cask. West Cork do not chill filter their whiskey, even at 40% ABV, so there might be a little haze here at cooler temperatures.
