A delicious, well aged Rhum Agricole from Martinique distillery Saint James.

Saint James are perhaps unfairly overshadowed by the other distilleries on Martinique, but they produce a fantastic quality of Rhum Agricole, distilled in column stills for purity and lightness.

This rum has been aged for 15 years in oak casks – a rather astonishing length of time in the heat and humidity of the Caribbean.

The result is a complex and delicious rum, packed with notes of tropical fruits, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla, clear honey, pressed flowers, mocha, stewed berries, citrus rind and charred oak.

Bottled at 43% ABV for a slight boost in mouthfeel, this is a luxurious offering.

One of the finest rums we’ve had from Saint James, this is definitely one for the aficionado.
