A limited edition Port Charlotte, made with 100% barley.

This whisky from Bruichladdich distillery is part of a series showcasing the effects of different casks on their peated spirit. MRC:01 has been matured in a combination of first fill American whiskey casks, and second fill French Wine casks, before a year old finish in the finest French oak barrels from the left bank of Bordeaux.

The end result is a dram that serves up heaps of smoked red fruits and bittersweet berries, wood smoke, Turkish delight, salted caramel, coffee beans, vanilla liquorice and French oak spices.

Warming and indulgent at 59.2% ABV, this is another classic offering from the Islay distillery.
