First released as part of Old Pulteney’s revamp of their standard range in 2018, this is a lovely, well matured dram from the northerly Highlander.

This single malt has been aged for 18 years in a combination of former Bourbon barrels and Spanish oak casks. The result is a warming, complex and pleasingly fruity whisky.

Drinkers can expect subtle notes of charred oak, spiced pastry, apples, hay-like malt, salted caramel, sea spray, lemon rind, vanilla, dark chocolate, bitter coffee, buttered bread, and light dried fruits.

An excellent iteration of Old Pulteney’s maritime style malt, bottled at 46% ABV and without chill filtration for extra body and structure.
