A nicely matured single malt Scotch whisky from Highland distillery Old Pulteney.

The spirit has been aged in a combination of Bourbon and second fill American oak casks, before being finished in first-fill Spanish oak Oloroso Sherry butts – with a final age of 15 years.

The result is a rich and flavoursome whisky, with notes of fresh fruitcake, allspice, honey, sea spray, yeasty doughnuts, sweet cereals, liquorice, apples, raisins, orange rind, dark chocolate chips, peanuts, toasty oak and vanilla.

Bottled at 46% for a little more punch and assertiveness.
