A beastly 7 year old octomore bottled by the Rest & Be Thankful Whisky Company. A single, French oak cask (cask no. 20080000908) was filled on the 19th of March, 2008, and left to slumber until the 6th of May, 2015, where it was bottled at a blistering strength of 63.9% ABV, with an outturn of just 316 individually numbered bottles.

As we all know, Octomore is super heavily peated Bruichladdich distillate. This Octomore is certainly no exception to that, as it features immense amounts of fiery peat and smoke, but not only that. 7 years in French oak has tamed the beast ever so slightly, and imparted a ton of classic, French oak character.
