Another fantastic single malt whisky from the good folk at Millstone, which is produced in the historic Zuidam distillery in Baarle-Nassau, Holland. Millstone have produced some of the most exciting and delicious whisky in European distilling in recent years, and this is another excellent example. This whisky pairs the tremendous flavours of Pedro Ximénez sherry sweetness with lip-smacking smoky peatiness. This whisky has been matured for 6 years in sherry casks, which allows it to develop these stupendous notes of dried fruit, pressed flowers and grapey sweetness. Bottled at 46% ABV and without either filtration or colouration, this craft production allows the true flavours of the whisky to take hold. Each bottle is hand numbered, and this is a truly small batch bottling, meaning drinkers should move fast if they want to try this beautiful dram!
