The 2021 release of Glenturret’s Triple Wood single malt, which is aged in European and American oak Sherry casks, and Bourbon barrels.

The three casks were perfectly together, producing a whisky which has notes of dried citrus peel, vanilla, ginger, cinnamon, sugared malt, subtle sweet wine, nutmeg custard, creamy honey and polished oak.

Bottled at 44% ABV for a touch more warmth and body, this is a well made, and well balanced dram.
