Part of GlenAllachie’s trio of cask finished whiskies, that were released in mid-2019, this dram has been finished Port pipes.

The whisky was initially matured in former Bourbon American oak casks. The Port wood finishing process has imparted delicious fruity flavours to the spirit, alongside an alluring ruby hue.

Drinkers can expect notes of red berries, cherry, strawberry jam, raisins, spice, dark chocolate, hazelnut, vanilla, malt, green apples, grapes, plums, treacle and slight rose petal.

Bottled at 48% ABV and without chill filtration or colouration, this is a high quality whisky which offers up terrific intensity and body.
