The ‘Fine’ or VS edition of Château du Breuil’s Calvados.
This Calvados is made the traditional way, with Pays d’Auge apples grown at the estate’s 42 hectare orchard naturally long fermented to produce a characterful spirit.
Being a VS (Very Special) age grade Calvados, this bottling has been aged for two years in French oak casks.
The result is a spritely, youthful spirit with notes of green, slightly acidic apple, green grapes, peppery spice, vanilla, some bright oak and a touch of honey.
A great introduction to Calvados and the Breuil range. This is an approachable sipper, but also works wonders in cocktails.
