A light, sweet Speysider found in the village of Cardow, close to Aberlour.

Whilst not overwhelmingly successful in its home country, Cardhu 12 year old has enormous popularity around the world, particularly in Spain and parts of South America. Cardhu’s spirit has traditionally had an important role to play in Johnnie Walker blends.

This bottling has been aged largely in former Bourbon casks, and offers up soft, malty flavours.

The dram delivers notes of white peach, hay, malt, biscuits, sweet oak, mild spice, apples, pears, a little grass, vanilla, honey, and the faintest hint of wood smoke.

A classic Speyside character which is well suited to the warmer months.
