The Bowmore Small Batch is matured in a combination of first and second fill ex-bourbon casks. The first fill ex-bourbon casks imparts lots of sweet vanilla, oak, and subtle spiciness, while the second fill ex-bourbon casks does more to enhance Bowmore’s classic flavor profile of fresh fruitiness and gentle smoke.
