Originally destined to be a travel retail release, this whisky sees the maritime, smoky flavours of Bowmore, one of Scotland’s oldest distilleries, married with the sweetness and spice of Sherry casks.
Aged for 10 years, this whisky packs in plenty of darkness and intensity, with both the rich, decadent notes of the Sherry and the powerful peat smoke, combining beautifully to create a whisky of a rare quality. Drinkers should expect plenty of brown sugar flavours, barrel char and toffee accompanying the smoky-sweet core.
This whisky received 92.5 points out of 100 in renowned whisky writer Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible! This 1 litre bottle gives you even more dram for your buck.
