Boulard have been making Calvados for just under 200 years, since their foundation in 1825.

The distillery is found in the Pays d’Auge region of Normandy, which is known for producing some of the very best apples in France. The region is a protected appellation for both its cider and calvados.

This bottling has been aged for at least 4 years in oak casks. During this time the spirit has developed a delicate complexity, and rounded off the rougher edges of the Calvados.

The final product is rich with notes of flowers, light oak, honey, spice, dried fruit, vanilla, stewed apples and sweet cakes.

A bottling that would make a wonderful introduction into the world of Calvados.
