A special edition Bols Genever made with 100% Malt Spirit

This bottling has been created by Piet van Leijenhorst, the ancient distillery’s master distiller. The expression is produced using an original Bols recipe dating back to the 17th century, and made with long fermented corn, rye and wheat which is distilled with Juniper berries.

The result is a wonderfully characterful spirit, that serves up notes of wholemeal pastry, rye spice, black pepper, some biscuity wheat, pine-like juniper, cloves, and subtle brown sugar.

A fantastically spicy and malty Genever, that would make for an interesting alternative to gin. Drink neat or over ice.
