An intriguing and delicious single malt from Benromach.

This 2009 vintage has been made with peated spirit, and matured in a former Bourbon American oak barrel until it was bottled in 2020. The whisky forms part of the ‘Contrasts’ series, which showcases different aspects of Benromach’s spirit as part of the core range.

The final products is a dram that offers notes of stewed apples and pears, vanilla, some warming floral peat, peppery spice, ginger, pineapple, toasty oak, citrus rind and brightening mint.

Bottled at 46%, this whisky has a good body and warmth.
